No full screen or windowed

I recently bought skyrim bc I used to play it on my old xbox 360. But I've ran into a problem, every time I try to make the game fullscreen or even windowed then press OK it doesn't do anything. I tried fn+F11, alt+enter, and I even went to the game prefs and turned fullscreen to 1 instead of 0. I also messed around with the resolutions but still acts like I didn't change a thing. If you can help that would be amazing, all I can do is hope someone who knows more than me can help me or show me a solution that I haven't seen in any other forums. Thank You.

EDIT: It was a resolution problem specifically with my game.

I'm having the same problem with you, did you found any solution yet? i've been wasting hours of my life time to make the game running on full screen.

i've triend this:
-Changing the Skyrimprefs
-Alt + Enter [Didn't work]
-Fn + Fn 11
-Updating the GPU Driver version
-Using CMD to change scale
and etc.

i'm playing on laptop anyway.
i hope there's a way to solve this problem.
