SKSE bugged opening
I downloaded SKSE as instructed with all the latest versions of both the game and SKSE itself. Ran it through MO2 and the game boots up fine however I cant even get into Helgen. None of the npcs are loaded in, the wagons crash at the gate and the gate doesnt even open. This has never happened before and i can't find a work around, what do i do?

Its only the stuff from the anniversary upgrade. but other wise im yet to install a mod because with SKSE i cant get into helgen
I've unistalled and fresh installed the game around 5 times now and its always the same. SKSE just doesnt work, which has never happened before but now for some reason it just won't.
Is this a new install and you installed SKSE 64 before you started the game which is considered a big no - no .

I installed the game and played around in vanilla for a little bit. I installed skse and then when i booted it up after getting everything in MO2 right, i started a new character just to make sure everything worked and then found that i couldnt get into helgen

Okay, you've confirmed you're using SKSE64 v1.6.1170 ?

If so, you have the installation itself wrong. Double check the readme in the zip file and confirm that those are the steps you've taken to install.

...for working ok i think you need SKSE,FNIS,All in 1, PapyrusUtil for normal game you dont need SKSE...for mod,you need more than what is up here...me one,i hawe broken Nexus page and my PC ...Vortex ...is zombi.

Ok good. It's very important that you're dragging the right files to the right places. I would imagine your error is being caused by something misplaced in that step.

1. Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Skyrim SE directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\. If you see files named SkyrimSE and SkyrimSELauncher, this is the correct folder. Do not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod. The "src" folder is only useful for programmers, most users can ignore it.

2. Copy the .pex files in Data\Scripts\ into the Data\Scripts\ folder of your installation. The .pex files are needed by all users of SKSE.

3. If you create mods, copy the .psc files in Data\Scripts\Source\ into the Data\Scripts\Source\ folder of your installation. The .psc files are only needed if you have the CreationKit installed and intend to create or compile Papyrus scripts. Make sure to add them to your include path.

4. Run skse64_loader.exe to launch the game. You or your mod manager must continue to use the loader for SKSE64 to work.

The one thing it might be caused from is the fact that i have everything on my C drive. I dont own another one and from what ive seen browsing mods, it appears that now skyrim and steam itself needs to be on another drive because of windows? well you cant have them in the program files it seems, so i could just move them out right?

I use windows10. I have both Steam and my system files on the same drive, no issues. If you're using windows11, I can't say.

I went ahead an installed sky ui and did a little test. If i run the game from the SKSE loader.exe from my desktop the npcs act normal only no mods are loaded but if i launch it through MO2, skyui works but npcs dont move and they're tposing. I did get the anniversary upgrade so maybe all the content from that is conflicting with something somehow? theres a bunch of stuff in my overwrite folder but i have absolutely no idea how to do anything with that.
