Changing difficulty doubles my current carry weight.
Is there some bug about difficulty?
Stuff started to get to easy, so i thought i'd bump up the difficulty, but all my carry weight doubles, i can't run, and there's a kind of a sun symbol next to the compass.
Survival mode is not enabled, and i don't get less carry weight limit, but all my current amount doubles over the limit all of a sudden.

Reverting the difficulty solves this, but what, i can't play on higher difficulties?
Does difficulty affect how much items weigh? And what's with the sun symbol?

Here you go:

This time there was no sun thing, so i assume it's some survival mode icon, but survival mode is off.

And yes, i use mods, but none that affect difficulty or game logic like carry weight or how much something weighs.

Yes, arrow weight can creep up.

Difficulty shouldn't have an effect on your weight at all. Only on the amount of damage taken (by both NPCs and the player). You probably have a mod that changes this.

The sun symbol next to the compass is likely survival mode, indicating being in a warm area. And survival mode does give arrows a weight of 0.1, like is shown in the screenshot. And it lowers your carry capacity by 150, which can also be seen in the screenshot. It seems that survival mode is being activated somehow.

Yep, also we can see that carry weight limit goes down exactly 150 points. That's also exactly what Survival Mode does.

If it is not a mod, then it is possibly that same bug with Survival auto enabling itself and difficulty setting problems. You have ver 1.6.1130 where that bug was introduced. Update to ver 1.6.1170 or downgrade to ver 1.6.640.

Damn. How do i not activate survival mode then?
Cause it's disabled in options.

That's a bug. That may be impossible. That is why you need a version without this bug.

Wow, i nailed the version didn't i? :D
The game is modded, so i can't change the version i'm afraid, i'll just have to play like this i guess.

When i started modding, most mods no longer worked with 640, and well, i'm here now...

Ok so, i think survival mode gets "toggled" with each difficulty option...?

What i did was, first enable survival mode on novice. Nothing happened.
Changed to apprentice, survival modes till on, then disabled survival mode, nothing happened.
Then i changed to adept, and survival mode went off.

I left it on adept then, i guess it shouldn't be too hard, stuff was dying in one hit anyway, this will be ok.

But if i changed to a higher difficulty, i think survival mode would then be toggled on again, and a higher difficulty off again.

Or maybe it was the steps i did with toggling it manually, idk, but i'm leving it now on this difficulty.

Yes, something like that, except that it isn't actually toggled in the settings. And yes, you obviously can try to manipulate it like that. To change the difficulty at what you want, then try to toggle the Survival setting on and off and may be at some step you can reach the point when the combination of settings would work like you wanted initially.

Well, it's a bit of a hassle, and not the difficulty i wanted, but one harder won't make that much of a difference. Everything was dying in 1 hit anyway. So i'll leave it at this.
