Arthmoor's site for SSE mods
Hello, I am following Vlad 254's LO guide here https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2944593951

Earlier in the guide it had me download Alternate Start - Live Another Life from Arthmoor's site, but it didn't matter what I put in for an answer I could not get past the security question to create an account. Which I used to have one, but it is not recognizing my email addy now. I mean the world trivia security question wouldn't even let me in after asking "who's site are you trying to access". I tried Arthmoor twice using upper and lower case starting letter and it was wrong. After a very long time of internet searches for answers and NEVER getting one right, I was thoroughly peed off and disappointed. Luckily I found the alternate start mod on nexus.

Now, the guide is sending me there for the Cutting Room Floor mod. I searched nexus and I cannot find a CRF by Arthmoor, and I am pretty sure he made it. Does anyone know where else I can find that mod OR knows how to reach Arthmoor to fix the site? I sent an email about it, at least a week ago, to the site and no reply yet. Thank you!

Heads up, you will want the correct Live another Life and Cutting Room Floor versions for 1.6.64. Mod author keeps his mods updated to the latest version on the official mod pages. I don't have the archived link, but I'm sure a friend can share them with you.

Ugh, and that was why I knew I needed to learn how to verify form # again. I just assumed that CRF was correct by the updated date. Thanks, I will go look over the mod page now. Then maybe learn how I verify form # again. I think I had to use another program. Anyone know of a good reference on how to do it (tutorial, video,..........directions for a newb, lol). Thanks

The site says the following:

Installation Requirements

Skyrim Special Edition 1.6.1130 or greater.
Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch 4.3.0 or greater.

DO NOT extract the contents of the BSA file into your Data folder as loose files, or let your mod manager perform an equivalent function on the contents of the file. Doing so will cause things to load in the wrong order and break the game. Skyrim is intended to load a BSA alongside it's ESM/ESP file. Circumventing this causes issues which I will not provide support for. If you insist on going against this advice, you will receive no support for the problems you generate as a result of this.

Installation - Nexus Mod Manager

Use the "Download with Manager" button on the Cutting Room Floor page at Skyrim Nexus. The installer should take care of things from there.
Then simply make sure NMM has the mod activated.

Vortex did not ask anything about the contents of the file per the warning, so I assume I am good to go. I will test ingame when I finish this section of downloads.

For those following along, I made it through the RDO CRF, etc section of the guide and have no issues in game. Everything is smooth and crisp for reaction. Only time my FPS drops to 57 is upon loading a screen, otherwise, and even though set to 59 in BethINI, shows a constant 60.

So, as far as I can tell, the CRF mod is working. All I remember about it is that it fixes lots of areas beth didn't finish, and corrects bugs I believe. Does anyone know if there is a specific area I can go to verify it is working, or if my game doesn't have problems it is fine? Thanks

I would travel to one of the locations added by Cutting Room Floor. Going by memory, a town called Frost River was added south of dragon's bridge.

Great, thank you! I will follow up on it. I started at the inn in Riften reading its a problem area good for testing, so It would be a haul if memory serves on where Dragon Bridge is, but will do it if needed.

Wow, the haters are out today. IDK what your situation is with him, but you will NOT find any agreement from this OP.

So, do you mod your game? Do you use the USSEP? Then, at the least, I think you should be thanking him :)

Arthmoor has done great things for the Skyrim community, but he’s also changed random things in the game with his patch, and reacted extremely negatively to criticism.
