Build ideas?

Just playing vanilla wondering if anyone has any build ideas i can use for my next run. Not looking to do any stealth.

my two fav are

two handed weapons +block (you never lived until you bashed on slow motion a bandit leader out of power attack that would have killed you)

and
playing support for your summons
using resto to heal them and illusion to buff them or confuse enemies into fighting among themselves

Do you use mods? If so, grab Fire and Ice Overhaul, play as a cryomancer spellblade? I think that mod might as well be vanilla since all it does is make fire and ice spells behave slightly different (fire spreads, certain ice spells leave chunks of ice behind).

Try the direct opposite of your previous build.
Pick a race and use only their main skills.
Browse YT for channels that offer unique builds. Skypothesis showcases primarily vanilla and AE builds. Belisaurus offers some good builds that use the Vokrii mod. I also like Kruger.

With Fire and Ice Overhaul Wall of Frost spell leaves chunks of ice behind so you can create ice constructs if you have enough mana and patience. It also makes fires from fire magic spread and act like fires do.

Fire and ice Overhaul is pretty close to vanilla, it just makes fire spread and ice spells leave chunks of ice behind.

Illusion, Alteration and Conjuration could be a way to go for your three major skills. You could trick the enemy into attacking each other while your summons tear the in-fighting parties to shreds while the Alteration could protect against any stray arrows or spells which manage to successfully find their mark.
