'Creation Credits'? How delusion is Bethesda/Todd Howard?
No way in hell would I pay a dime for anything related to this ancient game. Trying to milk us to mod an ancient game that people have been modding for free for over a decade. This is a 13 year old game, trying to monetize a 13 year old game with CREATION CREDITS? Gtfo of here with that b.s. Todd Howard. Make a new Skyrim already and stop trying to rob us.

How about making a better game out of Starfield? The game that Bethesda charged people 100 dollars for 5 days early access.

Have fun not using Vortex or MO2, then :) (Piracy / bypassing SteamLaunch)

They think correct. And this game is soulful.

You speak as if you believe this is new. The Creation Club launched in 2017. Its already been monetized for half its life now. The recent changes have only added more content - but the base has been there for years now.

Edit: Well technically the Creation Club no longer exists, its Verified Creations now. Same thing, different name.

There aren't a whole lot of things that I could still make use of 13 years later. But if the company wants to provide people like myself with a fresh bit of enjoyment then so be it. How else do they fund the future of their programs or give you even better things in return for money? So many people would turn their head at a new title, because they intend to keep using something they already have or had, and they still do not see an end to their satisfaction. You can't just release a new thing nobody used yet and expect it to cover the debt owed to the people who helped make it all happen yesterday, today and tommrorow.

It's time for Bethesda to put the game out to pasture imo and stop with the updates, but it's ultimately up to them.

They might like that one, yet another remaster. Pay to get CC integrated.

Ouch...., good point. Maybe just put the game out to pasture. I'll delete the other part.

You would be surprised how well "Horse Armor" actually sells in this day and age

They know Starfield is a loss cause so they go back to Skyrim again. Should of made a new elder scrolls not my problem they're so dumb. Wont be buying mods for a game that is 13 years old. I will admit I do pay a certain modder monthly but the guy puts in legit complicated mods for like 15 different games and his subscription covers everything not just 1 skyrim mod. It also goes to the modder directly no bethesda middle man percentage.

Microsoft bought Bethesda. Now you are seeing why Gabe wanted off the platform. Microsoft is the epitome of greed. The board members can only see what makes the most money quickly. Forget what made the game last all these years aka - free mods.

The CC has had it's own form of currency since it's inception over 6 years ago, none of this is new.

For me the difference is huge. Those new verified creations are not official content unlike old creations which are now parts of the AE DLC. In other words new CC has lost all the respect I had to it.

Horse Armor is free for a long time now. It doesn't sell.

If it's free, how does it sell?
