SKSE was updated to support the latest skyrim anniversary update 1.6.1130
Update 1: PapyrusUtils and AddressLibrary were also updated
Update 2: I read a post on the nexus page of SKSE64 in which the team behind the Skyrim Script Extender mod said that Skyrim is going to get another patch soon.

Yes and no. Having SKSE and the library means that a lot of mods will work once you update those 2 along with the game. But a number of mods will surely need their own update and won't work correctly until they are updated.

While it is good that SKSE and Address Library (AL) have been updated, it is not recommended to update your game to the latest version (1.6.1130) and SKSE & AL thinking all will be well with your heavily modded game. There are many mods that rely on SKSE & AL that will need to be updated accordingly.

For now, be patient. The mod updates should occur much quicker than when the compiler update occurred in 2021.

I've never played Skyrim on PC and never anything with mods but had a friend help me figure out a little bit of how it works. Been happily stumbling my way through the game and modding for about a month. Went to go make food and came back to find I couldn't play and thought I had broke something somehow. Thank you to everyone in this thread who is helping with links and updates!

Updated through vortex, but now I am getting this error:
