If you have mods that depend on SKSE (most of the best ones) WAIT! They are working on the SKSE patch, probably late today or tomorrow. Non-SKSE mods should all still work fine.

All updates break SKSE mods, so I would not update until the mods you use also update.

Of course? Are you new to modding?

I can't say for sure because I don't update the game but I assume the update will break mods, at least the ones using script extenders.

this guide has outlined what you can do to protect your modded game
The version of SkyrimSE and SkyrimSELauncher has been changed which caused SKSE does not work anymore. However, if you have an old version of SKYRIM, just replace those files which have been changed in December 5. Then everything just works perfectly, you can continue your game.

Where can I download these files?

not really a shameful question but I reckon the people at the LL forums might be able to help out better than the steam discussions

I'm definitely not updating, no think you. The perhaps when the collection that I'm using is updated, but not before.

Thankfully Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) 2.2.4 is available. I can now start the game again. I have a love/hate relationship with Bethesda. I just started playing Skyrim again and got all of the mods working happy until today. Now I hate Bethesda again.
Now on to other broken mods. No physics on bodies is so sad.

I like the old bethesda for what they've done. But Bethesda from today deseve nothing but despise. Have they even done anything right since... 2011 without actually talented people having to fix the mess they create continuously?
