'Let's Be honest' Everyone is installing "NOLVUS" Right now and it requires access to the Creation club HENCE Server maintenance

If you haven't noticed any videos in your youtube suggestive videos the a HUGE "ONE CLICK" Installer exploding right now called Skyrim Ultima or A.K.A NOLVUS. You can check out their site at

However part of setting it up requires you to have the Anniversary upgrade and a premium NEXUS Account. With that said, it installs a very well made and scrutinized mod selection of over 2200 MODS!!! Each one selected and configured before hand as to get you in the game fast without all the ground work on your end. One and done! Lastly, it also requires use of the CREATION CLUB in game and to have ALL files downloaded from that source, and from what I can tell with the servers being down, means they are trying to figure out whats going on.

Thus, I imagine the Steam servers are feeling heavy so who knows what Bethesda is doing about and odds are they know what's doing it.

I can understand that not everyone has interest of doing so, but come on: this amount of complaining over one mod pack, stalled by hardware and software maintenance for content that previously just about EVERYONE complained about?

This is a historical event, when Creation Club is finally cool.

See, I was once like many of you. Proud of my amalgamation a monstrosity of whatever I picked and chose. Creating my own unique Skyrim Heaven, and after my millionth and a half play through remodding the entire game almost every time due to version updates and DLC's all the way back to the beginning from my Oldrim preorder and experiencing the joy of the first naked lady mod while most of you were still in diapers. While experiencing set back after set back whether it was when Legendary causing SKSE to force an update which then caused all associated Mods built for SKSE to also update to the new version. Don't get me started on SSE, we waited for what seemed an eternity for an SKSE update.

For once it's just nice to have a click it and forget it ALL-in-ONE. A well done clean abomination of Joy. I get it if you take pride in your build, but I personally am ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tired of doing it. So yeah, it might not be for you. So why the hell are you here in the first place? Go read another thread ya wieners.

Edit and no, I've never even spoke with the people from the NOLVUS installer, I'm just passionate about being lazy.

I'm confused. Are you trying to insinuate that Bethesda took down the creation club servers because you think a particular mod pack is gaining in popularity and you think Bethesda is jealous of this? What's the angle here?

Also, Nolvus isn't just "one mod". It's a variety of different mods made by a variety of different people.

Our already lengthy window was prolonged due to maintenance on the server to improve functionality. This includes migrating all mods to new server architecture and due to the massive number of mods hosted, migration estimates varied. Our team is happy to confirm that tomorrow (Tuesday December 5th) we will have the final touches on our prolonged maintenance, and once complete, we will deploy a patch for Skyrim Anniversary Edition and the Skyrim Special Edition Creation Kit.

Additionally, we've been working with SKSE to ensure this popular extension can be smoothly updated following the game patch.

Any additional updates on maintenance will be provided here on Tuesday, and on our Bethesda.net status portal: https://status.bethesda.net/

More like in a years time when all the 50000 mods that it comprises of are updated for the new version of Skyrim released today...

More like in a years time when all the 50000 mods that it comprises of are updated for the new version of Skyrim released today...

Most xSE mods are using AddressLibrary these days. Only the ones that require hard version check needs to update individually.

I use wabbajack and one of their many mod lists. The mod list I'm playing and currently my favorite is called char grinn

Nah i prefer vanilla visuals, the art direction is superior in vanilla compared to heavily modded skyrim.

High Poly Head 1.4 and BDOR Nova pack 1.0 so I went to install them manually but it tells me to put them in the NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\5 VISUALS\5.14 ARMORS CLOTHING & folder WEAPONS\5.14.1 ARMORS the problem is that I don't have a 5 VISUALS folder, it goes from 4 DLC MODS.... to 5.1 BASE TEXTURE and MODELS, what should I do please???

Unfortunately, that is something that you need to ask the creator of that pack. As has been stated many times, questions concerning Wabbajack/Collections really cannot be answered here, as at best, those responding are just guessing - even if it is educated guessing. the only person who actually knows for sure, is the pack creator - since they are the one who put the pack together and knows (or should know) how it all works.

Just under 1900 mods now and get a CTD maybe once every few hours (4-5 hours). No long loads, no infinite loads, no save corruptions. MO2 will always be my go to. Dont get me wrong, one click collections are great, especially if you dont know enough about how to stabilise a heavily modded game and dont care about missing out on all the obscure gems of mods collections generally dont include. But I prefer full control over it all.

Maybe a good base to start, especially texture overhaul collections and such. Expansion mods and so on. If you have the time and interest I think its much better to learn how to mod properly yourself, manage mods and load order and learn how to use all the tools properly(ssedit, bodyslide, wrye bash, DYNDOLOD, Nemesis and so on). If not, at least you have options now and thats never a bad thing and I'll never knock on anyone who prefers the simpler, "do it for me" route.
