That being said, start with RaceMenu and the mods that build off that. There's mods to give your character better skin, eyes, hair, etc etc (as a bonus, most of the NPC overhaul mods tend to use the same base ).
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19080
Make sure to download its requirements also.
Then you either two routes. Install mods that add things like eyes, skins etc. All of which can be found here:
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/categories/26/
You can the create your own so to speak. Or you can download presets but again you must install their requirements(they can also be found in the second link)
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/search/
THEORETICALLY, the requirements of Pandorable includes things like Tempered Skin, Eyes of Beauty, etc, so if you have Racemenu it should pick up those variables for character creation--but don't take my word for it. As I said, I haven't bothered to fix my character face. I'm the only potato person in Skyrim LOL
But t'would be easier if you can find a preset you like.
Then just search “preset” on Nexus and you’ll have pages and pages and pages of mostly player character presets.
When you find one that you like and want to try out, check the mod’s description page and most - not all, but most - will tell you what eye/skin/hair/overlay/etc are needed in order for the preset to look in-game as shown on the mod page.
Be aware though that skins are usually one or the other, you can’t have multiple skin textures of the same gender (outside of using RBT which allows different ones based on race) as all races except Argonians and Kahjiit use the same male and female skin texture. So if one preset says to use something like Bijin skin and another says UNP, you’ll have to choose which skin you want. It doesn’t mean that the UNP preset won’t work with Bijin skin, but it won’t look exactly like author’s screenshots.
In-game, during character creation, go over to the Preset tab and then hit the key for Load Preset. Select it from the list, and it’ll load it. If it doesn’t look right, select the Import Head option, then hit the option that says something like Load Head/Preset, and find the preset again. Sometimes it won’t load the face geometry or certain eye/brow/etc textures correctly on the first try, but importing the head should fix that.
Then you’re good to go, though you can further customize the preset to your liking as you normally would with creating a character if you want (change the hair, skin tone, brow, eye color, etc).
If you want to a better looking body for your character, there exists a couple of body mods but I think it’s safe to say that HIMBO (males) and CBBE (females) are the most popular and most supported (for armors and such).
You’ll see a physics-enabled version for CBBE referred to as “3BA”, but unless you know your way around modding and making sure all the various requirements and settings are squared away I’d suggest just starting with regular CBBE to start.
Also note that body mods are like skins - you can only use one per gender AND whatever body mod/body preset you select will be applied to all NPCs as well.
So if you, for example, grab CBBE and then download some kinda super voluptuous body preset for a female character ALL female NPCs will also have this body type with the only variation being whatever it looks like at different weights as NPCs will have different weights.
There is a mod/way to make your body mod/preset ONLY apply to your character but last I looked at it it seemed very confusing.
i have installed racemenu, cbbe and 3ba, xp32 and such stuff ... but i just want to mod myself... how can i use the racemenu mod i installed in the game...? no easy way to apply botox skin on myself??? or something similiar that smilply replaces the old skins
