Sneak Metre Icon On Bottom Of Screen

I've developed a bug where the sneak icon is at the bottom of the screen with just a single dot in the centre of the screen. There is limited information online about this but i followed some suggested fixes, deactivating all my HUD mods - more HD, more HD inventory, curators companion, dear diary, i even disabled A matter of time mod as this was suggested as a possible cause.

I started a new game and still have the issue.

The only thing i can think of that's changed is that i installed the latest version of more hd and more HD inventory so that it would play with the curators companion but as i said above, i have disabled all those mods and still get the issue.

Any ideas - this is a game breaker for me.

Can you move it back with Mcm or is it stuck there?

Well, this is all above my head.

Skyhud does not have an MCM menu as far as im aware.

Its really weird, someone suggested i add Skyhud to fix the issue - but it didnt, at least not initially.

Diasbling it didnt work either, but when i reinstalled it and selected the vanilla config for the crosshair, that corrected the issue.

The mod must have overwritten something as now when i disable it the problem comes back.

So in a roundabout way it did fix my problem but im stuck with the mod now, which i have no interest in.

If anyone can explain this and/or advise how i can remove Skyhud without my issue returning id be interested/grateful!

You need to roll back to a save made before you added that mod. Explanations for why are to be found in the following (as well as the very few exceptions):
