Difficulty doesnt change
hello

so, ive played for awhile now and its getting too easy, i was thinking about changing difficulty, and so i changed it to master in the settings, however i loaded into a new area and it looked still way too easy, so i checked back into the settings and its on novice, it keeps going to novice

after some google help i found out usually the skyrim ini file being on read only could be a issue, so i checked both the ini files in the game root and in my documents, both are not on read only

i then thought why not change the difficulty in the ini itself, so i set it on 4 (master) and loaded the game

still the game settings show novice, enemies still easy, is there a way to fix this?

i am using SKSE with a decent ammount of mods (thank god the deadly dragons mod works properly, only the dragons are hard to kill, others are either a 1 or 2 hit kill, usually insta, dragons give me a good fight for few minutes and potions)

Found the problem. A mod broke it and another mod fixed it :). I'm using skyui and the mod SkyUI SE - Difficulty Persistence Fix fixed it.

thanks unboundlopez, downloaded the mod and finally it stays at master, a quick question though maybe you know, above survival mode is now a box called $SaveGameMissingCreationsCheck, u have that enabled or disabled? idk what the difference is and im not that eager to find out, who knows what it might break without knowing :NekoDisappointed:

- SkyUI SE - Difficulty Persistence Fix by author : Torwak .... this is the only way to fix this.
