(SE) How to unload shaders?
I've got a problem with my special edition install. Everything was super smooth until a while ago when I suddenly would get crash to desktop right when the Bethesda logo plays, after ENB finishes its building of shaders. At first I could not explain to myself what was happening, but then a new AMD driver released and the game worked fine afterwards again. Until today where the issue reoccured.

Of this I deduct that somehow the game's shader cache is filling up to a point where it refuses to launch. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I'm not very knowlegable at technical stuff.

Note that neither my game, nor my ENB are up to date. They are both at the stage of shortly before the AE update. I've been keeping a heavily modded version of SE without having it installed through Steam. Steam has to be opened to play, but forgets about the game again once I close it, so nothing can get overwritten by sneaky Bethesda updates. Entering through skse64.

If anybody has any idea of a better theory to what the problem is I'd be very grateful. :Tokyoheart:

You can simply remove ENBs.
They are one of the few mods you can remove without consequence.
