Game Crashes on Steam Deck
So whenever I try to open console command on the Steam deck for the game, it keeps almost immediately crashing whenever I try to open it. I tried on my desktop and it works no problems, tried several different protons and still the same issue. I have no mods installed or anything else, just want to get on console command. TIA.

Steam Deck Operating system is effectively a version of Proton working with WINE (Windows emulator), shouldn't need you to download another version of Proton...

But if it does, make sure you have WINE too.

The thing is, it worked before with no issues. Maybe about a week or so ago after I updated my steam deck, did I start having this issue.

OK it's the recent update. Nothing to suggest except either contact Bethesda and tell them their update has broken your ability to play their game on steam deck, or wait until they fix it (if they ever do)

It crashes my Steam deck as well. What is the best way to report this?

I'm also having the same issue. For me it seems the problem is the Steam Deck's Virtual Keyboard itself. I can bring up the console command window and close it fine, but if I bring up the virtual keyboard and then close it, it's an instant crash to desktop without any error messages.

Don’t you need to bring up the virtual keyboard first to bring out console command? That’s usually how I did it. But it’s definitely something with the deck. I tried with my laptop. No issues whatsoever.
