They aren't going to remaster any old TES games, it would be at least as expensive and time consuming as making a new TES game, and for a smaller market.

It is already being remastered by modders. Quite a huge project actually,
and it is called Skyblivion. https://skyblivion.com/ :>

Skyblivion comes out in 2025, lets see how good that is before demanding an official remaster.
No not at all considering the quality bethesda has been putting out since 2011.
Skyblivion though I want that ♥♥♥♥.

2025 is the ETA, It might be released sooner (or even later) depending on how well everything goes. They are welcoming more skilled modders to participate as far as I know.

Have you seen the line up for the next two years. Its like FF7:Rebirth and GTAVI (Neither of which come to pc until at least 2026). That's it. I NEED Skyblivion and Fallout London.

lol, yeah I know :p I think chances are very good they will be able to stick to the 2025 release, even better if they can release it sooner. It's a super dedicated team, very hard at work. I just hope they aren't planning on selling it to Beth's marketplace >.>

They literally can't. One of the rules of the new Creation marketplace is they can't be dependant on other mods, that includes SKSE and Skyblivion is definitely going to need some kind of script extender. Also it requires you own Oblivion GOTY edition, while not a mod I think the rule applies.

Personally I hope they do what the Enderal team did and release it through steam where it'd just check to see you had Skyrim and Oblivion and install it as a separate install. It might even have its own achievements that way.

Good to know  Cause the only ones who deserve any kind of payment for this project are the modders. That's my opinion and I am sticking to it :sootling:

Skyrim is the last TES game, and they had most of the development team to use when they did SE... For Oblivion and older games they have to read the notes and hope they remake everything..... Modders doing Skyblivion are fans who know most of the content, and would be forgiven for missing the odd bit, whereas Bethesda wouldn't be.

Neither are TES games, ESO is an MMO with a loose TES theme, and Blades was even less of an Elder Scrolls game than ESO....
