Difficulty in gameplay settings don't save anymore
I'm stuck on novice difficulty now.
Changing "iDifficulty" in SkyrimPrefs.ini doesn't have any effect ingame, it just stays on novice.
Anybody an idea which file I have to edit? Playing on novice is beyond pointless.

You can try adding it to SkyrimCustom.ini, that one is only ever read by the game and overrides the other inis. (0 is novice, 5 is legendary)
[GamePlay] iDifficulty=2

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately it doesn't work. I had no SkyrimCustom.ini till now, so I created one with the new difficulty setting and put it to the other ini-files, no effect. Also tried to put it into the games-folder and then the data-folder, no effect.
