So tell, me, wise one, your take on the gaming and entertainment industries?
This should be fun!
(that'll show 'em)
How refreshing!
With all due respect I hear what you are trying to say, but you are committing the same cardinal sin as the rest of us: You are talking like you know who made the actual call, and you dont actually know from where the orders came from. You are just guessing.
That said, we do have some historical evidence that predates microsoft getting attached which shows that bugthesda is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ enough to try this sort of parasitic behavior.
We also can see quite clearly that the trash at the support department will continue to try and marketing speak around it, and tell customers what they should actually want. Both observations are independent of M$. both are behavior that needs to be punished by the consumer. Businesses derive value for consumers, which justify sales consumers purchasing their goods. That is how it needs to be, and there are a lot of very stupid people that need to be brutally reminded of that.
Hey if it makes you feel better, go with lies. The post truth generation soldiers on.

Free will always be the better option, nothing Bethesda can do about it even with Starfield, not unless they create their own script extender which they won't.
