I will not buy any Bethesda games in the future
It's a decade old game - even if you only count from SE, it's been SEVEN bloody years. Bethesda is throwing out these patches to fix nothing but the only problem that they can't grab a single coin from modding.

You can't be bothered with selling high quality DLCs and you want to sell mods, that's ok and non of my business. But you're selling these average grade good-to-haves by routinely breaking community mods - that's what I call disgusting.

Starfield will be the last Bethesda game I will ever purchase (which is just another disappointment).

Lol okay bud.

Let's be honest, even Bethesda haters buy their games every time. So I don't believe you will stop buying them if a dead set hater of Bethesda will continue buying it after talking sh*t about it. It does confuse me though, why are they keep updating a game that's years old.

Lol okay bud.

We the community add our own content and make our own updates, Bethesda's assistance hasn't been needed in years.

Bethesda own the software and can do whatever it want with it.

Yep I also considered to roll back to 1.5.97 from 1.6.640 which is more stable for modding, but sadly that have to wait for next year because it's tiring to check which mod I have to downgraded. And unfortunately I dont have time for it because I'm too busy with real life..

There was a wabbajack modlist that did just that, i'm not sure if it's still available, i used it last year or so.

Lol okay bud.
12 years of "update and add content":
- no built-in mod manager for community mods
- established its own mod ecosystem that effectively rejects all community mods
- vanilla still suffers from fundamental gameplay bugs in quest trigger, collisions, animation queues, AI navmesh and more
- relies on community mods for bug fixes and engine optimizations
- relies on community mods for basic modern game features like LOD, directional movements and cloth physics
- community stabilizes after 2 years, drop in another patch for "steam deck support (game is already playable on steam deck) and widescreen support (already has mods for this)" and breaks everything that uses SKSE

SSE is a decent update to modernize the game's infrastructure, I don't doubt that. Everything since this creation club mess don't deserve to be called "updates" and there's no "content".

You're mistaking a parasitic relationship for a symbiotic one. Bethesda is in no way obligated to ensure support for third party that act independently
As for updates, if you don't consider bug fixes, console update and creation kit upgrade as improvement then you have a really weird definition
Paid mods are content, regardless of your willingness to buy them.
Lol okay bud x2

well that was a fun modlist I got to enjoy for a couple weeks... guess I'll try and beat the game yet again for the first time next year.

wont even attempt it w/o mods.. its 2023 and the lets face it the game needs mods this day and age..

Announcing this to others just sounds like trying to get confirmation bias for a choice you don't actually want to follow through with, lol.

I mean you can straight up delete Skyrim from your Steam library if it brings you that much pain. Why suffer?

Because they enjoy the game, they just don't like bethesda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with it for shallow, greedy reasons that no one asked for or wants?
