Cant recruit Lydia

Shes in my Falkreath manor doing all types of stuff and theres no dialogue option to make her follow me. I strangely enough do have the option to dismiss her, and when i do, the game gives me a popup message saying shes leaving, but nothing changes after that. I Also can tell her to wat which does nothing and i can browser her inventory. When i teleport her outside of the manor she just walks back in. What do i do?

ok, only know about four of those mods, but hopefully someone will know if it's ok.

First step is to look at the main page and bug report sections of the mods you installed to see if anyone else is having similar troubles with Lydia or any other follower.

I don't know which mod you are using that is effecting Lydia, however if it is a mod then you can check by loading all of your mods in XEdit and search for Lydia by her refid (000A2C94) or baseid (000A2C8E) and poking around the mods to see which one references her in them. Also, use the console to check the refid if the Lydia you are speaking to is the base game Lydia and not one swapped out by a mod (some mods do this which is super annoying).

If you can't find anything, load an earlier save and see if you can recruit her, you might just have a bugged save. You should check if any of your mods changes follower AI behaviors. If none of that helps, see if you can recruit other followers besides Lydia and also check if starting a new game will resolve the issue.
