Jenassa not following

I recently started a new game on Skyrim AE and tried to hire Jenassa as a follower. She took my gold but did not follow. Now every time I speak to her she calls me her patron but the only dialogue option available is to start a sparring match. nothing else...

Is there a way to reset her to get her to follow and interact properly?

But seriously, normally when a follower won't follow me its because I've told them to wait and have to teleport them to me.

She`s following me without Problems, so it can`t be a Problem with her in general. Did you try if it works with other Followers? Did you already verify your Game Files? Maybe a Mod that is causing the Problem?

Had the same bug. I solved it by recruiting her with EFF, so I can't help you, but thought you might want to know you're not alone.

Seriously, I did get around it that way because I could never figure it out. Only Jenassa. Took my money and just sat there.

I have no issues with a couple of other followers, just her. It may well be due to a MOD but I have rolled Skyrim back to 640 to try and make all my current MOD's still compatible until they have all been verified/updated to the latest update.

I didn't get the chance to tell her to wait, she never followed from the initial hire point.

Now the only dialogue option when I speak to her is for sparring and when I check my follower framework in the MOD configuration menu she is not showing up as a follower either, despite her calling me her patron whenever I initiate a conversation.

Bugger... I was hoping there was a console command I could try to reset her. I know killing and resurrecting her wont help because she is set as essential
