I have mentioned more than once that I have zero interest in porn mods myself, and that I can also feel annoyed at times by how many of them there are. But unlike you, I have accepted that they are there, that they will continue to be there and that there are ways to avoid having them thrown in my face. I don't have the same need as you seem to have, to go after players who use those mods. What do you think that is going to accomplish?
The only way to really influence the amount of porn mods would be to reach out directly to the authors of those mods. Something I still encourage you to do if you really feel that it is equal to war. I have more than once tried to open the door for an actual discussion by asking questions like; how does the amount of porn content on the screenie/art section affect the general idea/impression of this game? Should there be a completely separate section for the adult stuff? These are pretty good questions I think, but that has been ignored because of all the bickering. Not sure if you understand any of this though.
That's because that guy's a troll and pretty much only has negative things to say, regardless of the thread. Just block him like a lot of us have done and save yourself the frustration. Meaningful dialog with him's a lost cause.
I just don't like coomers and coomer defenders and I think it's healthy social behavior to express that. In the long run it may decrease the amount of porn out there although this isn't really the goal
I saw texture mods, some spells, overhauls to various systems in the game, book covers with Spanish translations, some kind of seasons mod, etc.
I looked through several dozen pages and never once saw anything pornographic at all. You have to be looking for it.
Furthermore, this is a video game. People will mod it to suit their personal tastes. Unless you want to try to change laws on an international basis, complaining about what paying customers of this game do to it in their own free time is utterly pointless.
I honestly don't believe the OP of this thread didn't go looking for said content because, like I said, I saw nothing.
The only thing I'm seeing is a lot of people wasting space in the discussions section for this game.
AFAIK you have to deliberately turn off the filter so they did it to themselves lol.
About the healthy social behaviour...
Is it healthy to express that for the mere sake of it, or do you feel "coomers" are living a unhealthy lifestyle? Is that the problem you see with all this porn content? Are you religious? I am asking my questions out of curiousity, I have no intention of using them against you and you don't have to answer. I tend to just take interest in trying to understand how and why people are thinking the way that they do, You are in any case free to have your beliefs but should also respect those who do not share them.
You are not bothered by a game focused on killing, but you are bothered by that game's modifications focused on nudity?
It's a problem for you, not the entire planet. If nekkid NPCs bother you, avoid them. Limiting what you see is the purpose of content filters. Why should your demands interfere with anyone else's actions? Like, who do you think you are?
What you see is based on your Steam settings. After reinstalling Steam on a new PC, I got age checks for Skyrim and Starfield and even on the store page for other games until I changed my settings.
That means *you* changed your setting to allow adult content.
