Can anyone help with game crashing please ?
So I stupidly ran LOOT on a heavily modded game because I was trying to get Rudy ENB for Cathedral Weathers working and running LOOT did the trick on another install I have with only 150 mods, but on this other PC with 390 mods running loot seems to have broken something and now the game CTDs whenever I load a save - any save. If I post my mod load order can someone give me a view on any obvious issues? And is it OK to post a mod load order that's long into a message here?

try this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59818?tab=description it creates a crash log to tell whats happening.

Did it only crash on startup, or only on loading a save? And does it work when starting a new save?

It is crashing a few seconds after you have chosen to load a save game - any save game

Alright.
Doesn't sound like missing master files, then. Because that would crash right on start up.

But what about starting a new save? Not loading one.

Does it also crash if you try to start a new game?

Anyway, just post your load order here, or if it's too long, then maybe somewhere else, and provide a link. Post a crash log as well.

ok lets start at the basics, the OP ran LOOT, and now his game crashes.
So while LOOT is a decent tool, it does have blind spots, which is why you can set up rules for mods to load before or after other mods.

So what the OP needs to do is post his load order and see if we can tell him if we can spot any mods in the wrong place.

Otherwise all we are doing is quoting platitudes and guesses.

In my MO2 folder there are 3 files I could post and they are named: loadorder; modlist; and plugins. Which of those shall I post folks?

Whoa, dude, this may take some time.

I think the issue is one of the many patches. Install Wrye Bash, and compare the current load order with the one in the save file.

Or, simply use the "reorder masters" function, this will sort the files in the order recorded in the save.
