Seemingly impossible-to-fix crash
For the last day I've been wrestling with a consistent crash. It's happening on a fresh game, always in the same spot, on the road from Helgen to Riverwood, right after it branches out to Embershard Mine. The crash logs don't seem to show a clear culprit, and this happens on new saves as well, after sorting the load order with LOOT and cleaning the plugins with SSEEdit. There is only one thing that stands out in these crash logs: an NPC called "Treasure Hunter". I have no idea what he's connected to though, a search online actually shows him as a vanilla NPC. I am at the end of my wits here, so if anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be extremely grateful.

As for the reference to 'Treasure Hunter,' it is a part of Interesting NPC's. It is listed in the credits at the bottom of the mod page on Nexus. The Treasure Hunter mod is found here -
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5789

You can test a new character without Interesting NPC's and see if it still crashes.

There is a Treasure Hunter in the Immersive World Encounters mod

Tried this, still crashing unfortunately:( Weirdly enough, the Treasure Hunter NPC still appears in the crash log a lot, and, I assume, still has something to do with the crash. Maybe it's the vanilla one?

This didn't work either unfortunately, crash still occurs in the same place, Treasure Hunter still in the crash log - on a new save, too.. starting to lose hope I can fix this without rebuilding my mod list from scratch

Thank you, Tulle040657, for the follow up.

I will also add that Immersive Citizens has reports of no longer being as stable as it once was. Many have transitioned out of this and gone with the following -
AI Overhaul SSE
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21654

AI Overhaul appears to have better support and several patches that may be useful.

To summarize so far, the crash at about the Standing Stones / Embershard Mine trail may be related to Interesting NPC's, Immersive World Encounters, Immersive Citizens, or another potential mod conflict. This is not definitive as we continue to review.

This is possibly unrelated, are you using the vanilla start (cart ride / Helgen tutorial)? I'm pretty sure that Helgen Reborn needs to be disabled until after leaving through the tunnel. After a quick check on the mod page, yes, it should be disabled until after the tutorial.

Thank you for the continuous help. I tried disabling Immersive Citizens and Helgen Reborn in addition to all the mods mentioned above, and for the first time I managed to get through the crash spot unscathed two times in a row - but unfortunately, third time was not the charm. Crash still happens, Treasure Hunter still in the log. However, what did appear additionally this time are some supplements to the crash log, all of which you can see here:

It seems like there is some interesting data here to piece together, but I'm not sure what to make of it, or what to disable/enable next:(

I see a few references to Dylbills Papyrus Functions. While consolidating papyrus script multi-function mods is reasonable, I think just installing the usual suspects is less problematic. Dylbill's is supposed to augment(?) replace(?) several that should just be installed separate. It appears in the crash logs you posted.

These are:
1. SKSE (version specific. Most current for SE/AE is 2.2.3 for game ver. 1.6.640)
2. Address Library
3. Powerofthree's Tweaks
4. Papyrus Utilities SE
5. Papyrus Extender
6. Console Utility SE

I know you have SKSE and, I believe, Address Library. All of the above (and more) are the same one's I use as so many mods refer to something related to these.

Here's something I wasn't expecting to say: I think this worked! Or at least the game didn't crash at the usual spot 6 times in a row, which honestly seems good enough for me. It's pretty late already where I'm at, so I'll check tomorrow if there is still no crash when I re-enable some of the disabled mods, and post an update then, but this is great progress on its own. Thank you very much for the help, it's honestly impressive you got all that from a few (very vague) crash logs.
