Did they remove "Child's Doll" as gift option for daughter?

More than likely its a mod conflict or corrupted/missing files.

Probably has something to do with your child mod.
We can give daggers and child's dolls.

Yes, nothing preventing Child's dolls from spawning, a bit rarer than they used to be but still in the game.
Gifts for children include : Child's Doll, Food (including sweets), Daggers, Wooden Swords (Sharpen them on a grindstone and enchatnt them if you really care), and Clothes.
Also they can adopt pets and will accept gold from time to time.

Edit: No updates have changed any of this.

About the only place I've ever found child's dolls is in cupboards. As pointed out, they're kinda rare.

The Khajiit caravans often have them. Wooden swords, too.

They are in General Goods stores, cupboards, some treasure chests and Khajiit caravans (who to be honest are just travelling General Goods Stores)

Just a thought: if you meant that the kid won't accept the doll, you can place it in their belongings chest. I've gotten them to use regular and enchanted weapons that way.
