FOV keeps resetting
Disclaimer: This problem started happening once i installed the "immersive & pure" collection off the mod nexus. So its almost guaranteed to be a mod causing this but Im just hoping to figure out which one and how to fix it.

Whenever I try to use the console to change the fov via the "fov xx" command I can see it change but then it reverts back to the default fov as soon as I close the console again. I tried going into the Skyrim.ini and Skyrimprefs.ini files and adding the fov lines and all that but that didnt work. Any help is appreciated.

It's a feature of Improved Camera SE, you need to adjust the FOV in its own HUD (default Shift + home).

It's one of the reasons I don't recommend huge modlists/modpacks, no one is going to jump into the description of 500 mods to see all their features. When choosing mods manually, you are more likely to read all the descriptions to see their features and possible conflicts/redundancies.

Since it is in a collection, you need to contact and ask the creator of the collection - as they are the only ones who know the mods involved and how the collection was put together.

As far as FOV goes, once it is changed via the console, it should stay at that setting for the remainder of the session. When you start a new session, however, if will revert back to default. The fact that is is not staying at what you set it would indicate that something is interfering - and only the author of the collection can know (if, that is, even they do).

Good luck!

Yeah I actually had left a comment on the collection page about it at the same time I made this discussion and the author ended up getting back to me about it today and solved my issue. @TAGma got it right though. You can just edit the FOV through the Improved Camera mod so thankfully it was just a quick change of the settings in game  Thanks for the response though.
