stuck follower, cannot dismiss
I have a stuck with me Follower Viranya from the "Way of the Nine" quest and now I cannot get her to leave. I did not ask her to be a follower to me, i believe she was part of the quest and now I cannot dismiss her because the only thing that comes up on her is to when you select E to talk to her it only says "I would like you to cure me" there is No Dismiss Follower or you and Follower time to separate. Can anyone tell me how to dismiss her or I even tried to Stay or Freeze her at a location in Skyrim, but nothing works. Her ID is 09005a03.

I read the chart, but how to stop, remove, dismiss, freeze, Viranya?

Disabling her will not correct the underlying issue. Besides, if there is an active quest that has added her to the temporary follower position and you disable her, you will cause an issue for any other quest that adds an NPC as a temporary follower, such as Serana during the Dawnguard questline or one of the Companions during their questline.

Skyrim has two positions for followers. One is for quest NPC's and the other for standard followers. The quest NPC position is special in that you can only have one active at a time.

The questions to ask are -
1. Did you kill all the vampires during the ambush?
Look at the quest summary in the log and see what step you are at. If you are given an objective to kill vampires in an ambush and the NPC doesn't respond after (or no quest icon above their head), then you may have a thrall or vampire still out there. Additionally, You may have killed all of the enemies and she will not respond. Sometimes Skyrim hangs on a quest stage. You should reload the save and try again.

2. Have you collected all eight blessings?
If you have collected all of the blessings, then we will need to find out what part of the quest you are at. To determine the quest stage, type the following console command -

getstage SvashniQuest

Let us know what stage is indicated.

EDIT: For clarity.

Well, I will probably get a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ for suggesting this, but does the following sound acceptable to you:
  • stand close to and facing Viranya
  • open your console and click on her character
  • make sure her PID is active (top of screen should display ??005A03) ??=is your dawnguard load order
  • type disable and press enter. (she should disappear)
  • Close the console and continue being Dragonborn.

Hope that helps. ;3
um.... that will screw up the quest, since she will disappear from the game entirely.
note the op only says they got her from the way of the nine quest, not that they have finished it.

Worse yet, since Interesting NPCs is a labyrinth of interlinked quests, it'll most likely screw up other quests as well.
The options for fixing an NPC are:

A) click on her and use the ResetAI command.
B) Click on her and use the disable command followed by the enable command, this resets NPCs AI and does not remove them from the game.
C) Load a save from before she froze.

The difference between what OD suggested and option B is that you undo the damage the command does before you do anything else... this is important.

I did finish all the eight Blessings, but I know this quest was bugged because I noticed as soon as I started it the characters stop talking and some didn't respond back from selection answers on the chat, I do not want to screw up my game, it has been going well so far, I just want her to stop following me, so could I just put her in a freeze at some location and leave her there? I do not want to go back to this load to re-enable it and do this all over again, I am way passed this point in the game and have gone a far amount
in Level 65 I am trying to grind it out to level 80 fight the Ebony Warrior then I'm done and did like 99% of it all, then I am going to start a new Game with different Mods of Landscaping and Palaces and Dungeons. I am pretty sure but not definitely about killing ALL Vampires? how can I tell ? Thank You ALL for you suggestions, I will try some of them and update this Discussion.

If you have completed the "Way of the Nine," check your quest list for
"Vigilance and Virtue."

According to the link below, the walk-through infers that Viranya accompanies you through the quest. Take a look at the subheadings. This indicates there are at least four parts to this quest.

Awesome Nabinkemper, Thank You I will check that out, seems to make sense to me
i had the same issue with here but she did not leave after killing the twins in the corner club.
i resolved it by going to the mod config settings/follower framework/ slots&history there she was still in the list of followers i did dismiss her by clicking on her name in the list it sad remove after here name left smg and she went back to the beacon.
this is a soft way to remove here without use of console and is there way less change to brake something in the game
