unlocking crossbow bolt as non dawnguard

i had the creation kit "dlc" for the crossbow stuff, at the moment i can craft crossbow it self but i cannot craft the bolt is there other way to unlock the bolt crafting beside joining the dawnguard? (dont reccomend mod)

I can't remember if the crossbow Creation Club thing changes anything, but if it doesn't your only options are Dawnguard or mods. If you don't want mods because you want to get achievements, there are other mods that enable the ability to get achievements again when using mods.

Dwarven Spheres carry bolts, without the Dawnguard that would be your only source.

Vendors sell various bolts when you have AE. OP has crossbow CCs from what i understand so it's safe to say vendors are also his option.

only solitude fletcher does i always run out of bolt and need to make a trip to solutide that kinda a hasstle

Drunken Huntsman vendor also sells bolts.

And i seen Khajiit sell exotic ones occassionally.

Also i recall Iron Bolts (don't remember which crossbow related dlc they are from i just have the entire AE package) can be crafted without any perks or Dawnguard unlocks.

Fletcher sells more bolts than Huntsman and they have more chance to appear in his inventory.

Cause that's odd i am both seeing them being sold ingame and the curio and crossbow pack CCs refer to

Maybe it has some hidden requirement you didn't meet. I'm pretty sure it's not the joining Dawnguard. I could have sworn i seen the bolts being sold despite me still being at the "Join Dawnguard" stage of that DLC quest and not touching it for a very long time.

I want to say the only merchant that sells crossbow bolts (and that isn't Dawnguard) is the fletcher in Solitude, but only if you have the Expanded Crossbows Creation Club item. He is the one that sells the crossbows, which would be useless if you couldn't also get bolts for them. An exception being the Khajit caravans have some bolts, as the Rare Curios Creation (which is part of the base game now so everyone with Special Edition has that Creation installed) adds in some bolts, like the corkbulb bolt.

I can't recall ever finding them for sale at the Huntsman, but they might just be rare. I can find a number of people having the same issue.

wtf i just going to go the hunstmen to screenshot to you that they dont sell bolt but they do sell it now idk how i trigger it
