do you actually own steam deck and play skyrim there? because i used to play skyrim on switch and i really love archery with gyro, it be suck if steamdeck cannot do that

No, but I have read threads were people were asking about this issue, and that was the answer.

People who do own the steam deck have said it doesn't work, because the game wasn't made for the steam deck. Also there wasn't any mainstream device that does the gyro function when either Skyrim or Skyrim SE were released, Switch version was coded for it because it's an intregral part of the switch.

I don't know if there are mods that enable Gyro functionality for skyrim SE, but it doesn't have it as vanilla.

Gyro control does work on Skyrim SE. I've been playing it on my Steam deck. Games don't need to be "coded for it", that's not how it works.
