Can a 2080 ti keep skyrim stable at 60 fps? (with mods and enbs installed)
It might be a dumb question but I plan to buy a 2080 ti card and thinking of giving some enbs another try, since I still have passion for skyrim.
So.. as I asked in the title, and I will be using SMIM and maybe other 4k texture mods, enb like RealVision (with AO and DOF on) or other similar ones. I won't expect 2080 ti to perfectly handle the fps killer enbs like Snapdragon so I just would like to know if it can handle the light ones and keep the game at 60 fps all time.

I do not see why not. I do not care to much about fps but when I was playing Skyrim daily on a 1080 TI it was stable around 57-60 with ENB and 70 mods installed.

To be fair, it was the same on my previous card, a GTX 980.

2080ti is massive overkill; even a 1070 would max out TESV @1080p high.

My 2060 along with SSE Engine Fixes keeps me at 60 all the time

Always gonna depend on the ENBS and whatnot. Skyrim isn't going to hardware bottlneck on any decent hardware (essentially anything better 970) but there's still the odious drawcall bottleneck Bethesda has been fighting with literally since Daggerfall. However, I don't recall any super drawcall heavy spots in Skyrim outside of the Soul Cairn. Dare I say the game is actually well optimized in this regard. (Though one of the compromises was the Poor Armor system that combines legs/body)

Probably the biggest FPS killer will be how many script-extender mods you have. Complicated scripts take a lot of CPU time to execute. There's no real way to speed this up outside of raw CPU MHZ rating.

Sorry I forgot to mention, last weekend when I was crashing at my friend's place and I took a day and did a test run on his pc, with RTX 2080 Super card, and the rest of the setup is basically the same with my pc. I installed the same mods I mentioned above and turns out, stable 60 fps at interior cells but rather unstable at the outside with 40-60. Oh and we are both play on 3840*2160 resolution.

Point is, 2080 Super is just a little bit worse than 2080 ti, am I right? And I'm more worried that if I the 4k resolution will drag down the performance.

I don't think my mods are a issue since without enbs, everything is stable, except for occasional crashes of course. However with a 2080 Super and AO and DOF off, the fps keep between 50 and 60. When I turn enb off, it bounces right back to stable 60.

And btw I'll be playing skyrim under 4k resolution when I get the new card. Soooo this is the other thing i'm worrying about impacting my fps.

You'll be fine. I have a 2070 and run over 500 mods, have a enb, and a boatload of 4k textures, also have several mods that add npc's all over the place. I get 50-60 fps and sometimes 40-45. smooth sailing all the time. no crashes.

I've been smooth at 60FPS (some stutters) including enb and a preset along with climates of tamriel. I currently have a 2060 super and my old rig had a gtx 970. I don't use hundreds of mods though, just 60 or so.

Same here, I have also some 8K textures.
But not one ENB only the binaries. Dont like ENB for some reason.
Obviously, yes. You would have no reason to think otherwise so, cool.

A while ago, with my GTX 660 with ENB I got at least 30 fps, which a lot of you would complain about and not put up with.
