Thieve's Guild Bedlam Quest Not Counting In Raven Rock
Anyone notice this problem happening? I basically just swiped EVERYTHING that wasn't tied down in Raven Rock, around 5000 gold worth of items for this quest. I only need 500 golds' worth to begin with. Nothing counted towards the total. I can't do future Bedlam quests for Raven Rock because I've stolen LITERALLY everything from trying to just get this one quest to finish. I ended up having to just go to Delvin and tell him I want out of the quest.

Do a manual save before you start ANY radiant quest, that way if it doesn't work you can load the save and try again, because the quest is chosen at random.

Also quests in Raven Rock and Riften do not count towards the quest you get for doing 3 jobs in a city. Save before taking a quest and if you are sent to either city reload.

I basically have the cities all finished up now, I only need 2 for Markarth now but I'll use this for the last two, thank you :)
I also recently learned if any of the cities have a Stone of Barenziah somewhere, you can steal that and it immediately finishes the bedlam quest

None of the Thieves Guild radiant quests are designed to take Solstheim into account.

No, what Arthmoor was saying is they weren't designed with solsteim in mind, yes the game nows puts them there, but when they were being put together Solsteim wasn't part of the game.... so you get issues.

If you don't want radiant quest in dlc locations or mods for that matter try quests are in skyrim: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18416

That's not really how that works. The quests wouldn't just exist without them being coded into the game. Whether they're implemented later on or from the start has no impact on the bugs, the quality of the coding and game engine does.

Not true - the quests are listed in the plugins for each file - it is the existence of the quest in the plugin file that implements the quest in game.

<eyeroll>
When they created the main game they set it to use any area....
When they created new DLC the new areas were added to the lists....
Nobody thought to check that the radiant quests would work as intended in the new area...
not sure what else to add to make it any more obvious???
