Flawless Varla Stone?

The quest is to find a "buyer" for this one of a kind stone added with the anniversary edition. So, any hints? Is it so simple that I'm too stupid to see?

Only way I've gotten "Flawless" varla stones was from Beyond Skyrim in Aleyid ruins, but I'm thinking this is from a Creation, not Beyond Skyrim.

Creation Club does have a mod that adds Varla stones, including flawless Varla, but not a quest to find a buyer, so the quest is possibly from a mod.

The item itself comes from CC "Rare Curios" but I don't think a quest is associated to that. So I have the same impression as user alexander_dougherty, that it's probably from a mod. Someone thought to give it a means of existence? Maybe LOTD? Idk?

For it's useless and wtf at the item value.

There is no "flawless" stones in the game, rare curios only adds "flawed" stones. If you have a flawless stone it's from a mod, which can be easily found. Drop the stone on the ground and select it with the console, then compare the first two digits to your load order.

Thanks for the thoughts. Figured from a mod, but cannot be Dropped, as the admonition states "Quest items cannot be dropped from inventory". Will check in Bruma and see if that turns up anything. As Alexander-D said Creation Club had the input, and it was one of those instantly added to miscellaneous quests, as "Find a buyer for flawless varla stone". No luck so far.

Oh, and the instantly added Misc. Quest was added at the point I picked it up.

Then type in the console: Help Varla
that will list anything related to Varla stones including the flawless one, it will also give you the id #

I couldn't find any info on a Flawless Varla stone myself.

Edit- I checked in-game myself, it's not from any of the creations or Bruma.

Flawless Varla Stone: 141785BC. Not that familiar with the console, so it gave that info and 5 numerical value commands, which I don't know what to do with. Tried 2 or 3, but just got repeat info about what that number was for. Still stumped. Haven't tried in Midwood Isle mod yet. That's next, and Solstheim.

Also took two screenshots that I'll put up on my account for public view, which is the proof of concept that there in fact is a quest to "find a buyer". Does anyone know how to show the screenshot here in Discussion panel?

Its the Midwood Isle mod. From the Nexus page, listing their patches:

Rare Curios

- For use with the "Rare Curios" Creation Club Content
- Adds in the Ayleid Welkynd Stones and Flawed Varla Stones from Rare Curios into the Ayleid Ruins
- Also renames the Aryrru Strange Crystal to Flawless Varla Stone

If the other thing I found is correct, you sell it to Falas, the district mage of Florin. Don't have the mod myself, so I have no idea if that is correct however.

I went to Midwood, and the map had no location marker highlight for the island anywhere when checked through the map. Will go again and direct to Falas. Thanks again.
