This quest is odd, is this an anniversary creation? I'm confused as to what this is, this quest randomly started as I entered Riften and was in a conversation with someone, and when I read the journal it said something about a thief jumping me. That didn't happen... and then I go to the quest marker and there's a body on the ground of a dead thief.

When I tried googling what the heck happened I found that apparently it's a mod. But I'm not using any mods...

EDIT: Turns out the thief can be spotted by guards before you and get killed which will trigger the quest. It is a CC mod.
