Valhalla Combat bugged
I am having a problem where the multipliers for how much stamina damage is dealt on block do not work. I can change the numbers but they don't do anything. Because I play with Grimdark Legendary Damage which makes player and npc deal 3x damage, regular bandits can drain me of all stamina at level 1 with 1 hit and break my guard. Anyone know what might be going on?

Then it is not vanilla, and is probably a mod issue, maybe a conflict or missing requirement.

He did say Valhalla, not Vanilla.

IMO, mixing various combat mods is likely to cause trouble, unless it's purposely made compatible, or you can disable the parts that overlap.

Not 100% sure but the mod author claims his mod is compatible with combat mods. A few got named in the description; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/47405

My suspicion is that because of the high damage (from the multiplier in this grim dark mod) has a huge influence in how much stamina has to be taken away. I would advise the OP to figure out (or ask there) how Valhalla is handling the stamina removal. Is it based on the damage dealt?

If yes: then the answer is there.

But that's the issue, even after I uninstalled Grimdark it STILL did the SAME damage as before. So I thought maybe it had to do with a bandit overhaul I had, but removing that made no difference. So I guess some of the other possible conflicts could be Amazing Follower Tweaks, Leveling Perks (makes the first perk of a skill gradually increase effectiveness with skill level rather than a fixed percent with tiers), Skill and Attribute Tweaker (this actually seems like it could be an issue but haven't tested yet), and iNeed

hmm removing a mod does not mean its effects are totally removed. We're talking about multipliers. You start to see the changes with newly generated NPCs or after a reset.

Anyways, this is something that may require attention from people using Valhalla. I believe your best bet is to ask around on Valhalla's comment section. In meanwhile, I am going to mention this thread to someone knowledgeable that uses Valhalla as well.
