- AE is just DLC, what you are worried about is the game version.
- If you very recently installed Skyrim SE, you have the version used by the AE DLC content to work correctly.
So if you install mods, they have to be for the latest game version, in MOST cases this really does NOT matter, UNLESS its a mod that requires SKSE.
I mostly only care about SkySA/MCO. The rest of the list I'll make it from scratch again since I lost my modlist
I have no idea what MCO stands for. Search didn't really help.
Attack-MCO work fine on AE
Dodge-MCO, you need to downgrade it to 1.6.353
The issue is people not protecting their games from updates. This way you don't miss a beat.
But if there is that mod that you must have and it's not yet updated then stick with your older version.
If it HASN'T been updated since November 2021, then you should only run into issues specifically related to the 1.6 update if the mod uses SKSE as a dependency. (Again, baring Bethesda shenanigans)
I've used mods from Skyrim LE in my modlist before. It really depends on the type of mod it is, and what it does/changes.
