Question about Anniversary edition creation club mods
Hello, so, lets say that I start a new save, that will use certain specific creation club mods.
Then after some time, I uninstall game, delete the folder with installed mods that are present in anniversary edition.
Then after some time I decide that I wish to install Skyrim again and continue with my previous character who had those installed mods, but not remembering which ones I had installed and therefore not installing any, will I be able to play?

1. What will happen? Will game detect which mods were present in that save and redownload them by itself?
2. What if I will during playthrough decide that I wish to install more creation club mods, will then they suddenly appear in game, or do I have to start a new playthrough for them to appear?

Thanks

it's AE, you get all the CC content and if the game recognizes that you're missing any on startup you get a prompt to redownload the missing files

1. No, you need to redownload those CC mods or you will have issues.
2. You can add the CC mods at any time, the only one witha problem is the Vigilant armour quest, because the letter that starts the quest can get buried after the hall of the vigilants is destroyed.

So the other person, "get schrunked on" said that I will get prompt to redownload missing files, does your answer rule out his answer or not?
I mean, will I have to manually find them and redownload them or will they redownload themselves?

Well you could write down which ones you are using and keep the info around or simply install everything and not worry about it.

That is why I dont like using mods in any games :D, and I never use them, because of chance that I will not get to use my old save because of them/corruption.
In old morrowind I tried a mod once, and upon later returning and reinstallation of game my save was corrupted and I could no longer play the game.

I was hoping for one thing however, that with anniversary edition, those official creation club mods would get a prompt to redownload them, so that I would never have to worry about it.

you may get prompted, but it won't do it automatically...... It may just be a case of you clicking on "Yes download these files", but you need to download them, which is what I said.

Yeah, that is what I meant.

Anyways, I tried it right now in-game and it doesnt prompt you unfortunately :/, It just gives you a list of mods that have been used in that save, that you dont have them installed and that it may cause problems.

Go to the CC menu, you can download the CC mods there, I can't recall if it has a history for CC mods, but I clicked on Download all when I bought AE, so I would just download them all
