oh yahh that'll do it. Cap your fps in your GPU's control panel.
u sure its bcuz of 60+ fps? ): bcuz i like playing with higher fps
Dude it's been a problem for Bethesda games since at least Oblivion. I get it, it's nice to have super high fps but 60 fps is fine. Like I said, I have in the past played around 70-80 fps with little to no issues, but 160+ frames will absolutely make the engine freak out.

I'm not guarenteeing that this'll fix your game. I'm more or less providing a suggestion based off of personal experience.

The one causing the crashes, obviously. Anyway, just answer the questions.

Limiting FPS to 60 may help as well.
yeah but 60fps looks ugly

????? I can benchtest my rig on HEAVEN, and run as high as 170 FPS on Ultra settings. I can visually discern ZERO difference between that, and 60 FPS.

What are your full PC specs? Best to have the full picture. Very likely there is a mod issue, but getting all the data means not failing because of false assumptions.

It may be the source of the problem. There are workarounds for the 60fps issue (in the pinned thread), but for clarity's sake, just test it.

The problem is Skyrim's engine. The SE version was upgraded significantly, but deep below it is still a very old and overburdened engine.

Have you been adding mods while playing an existing game? Do you start fresh game after adding mods?

Unless a mod specifically requires a new game, provided there are no conflicts with already installed mods, it is perfectly fine to add mods mid-playthrough. The problems occur when people remove mods.

As to the FPS - despite what many people claim, FPS over 60 often does result in serious issues occurring in the game. This has nothing to do with the capabilities of your PC, but is tied to the game's engine and its inherent limitations.

Congrats on having such good reaction speed as to notice the difference. But still, limit it to 60.

unless you have a mod that fixes the issue, Creation engines games start to act real weird once you push the 60fps mark.

I assume you have a 60hz monitor. Otherwise, you may be an old fart?
But yeah, the engine bethesda used all their older games hate it when you go above 60, even with work arounds/patches.
