Any recommendations for a Oni build?

By Oni I mean the Japanese demon, all I've got so far is I'm going to be an orc (the passive and the look) and I'm going to use Namiras ring to eat flesh then for weapons and armor I'm going for 2 handed stuff and heavy (orcish) apart from that I don't know what specific stuff to use and if a Oni would have a follower. PS I'm using mods rn so if theres any mods you think that will help with the build please tell me about it!

Just Immersive Armors and Immersive weapons for some extra katanas, nodachis, and ninjatos. Can't think of anything Japanese/Akaviri themed in the armors, but a wider selection still doesn't hurt. I haven't tried a build with that theme so I'm not sure what other mods could be better for it. Diverse Dragons does have an Akaviri dragon though, so that could be cool if you happen upon one.

I've looked at immersive armors and weapons but a few comments on the page says its kinda out of date, would you say so or does it still hold up? Also does this work alongside Legacy of The Dragonborn?

Yeah I read those comments too, and they almost put me off from downloading, but I'm glad I did. The weapons and armors are cool, look good, feel balanced, and fit well with the vanilla game. Definitely feels polished, not outdated to me. I don't think the screenshots do the mods justice.

Not sure if they are compatible with Legacy, but I read Legacy and it does say it has an installer that detects other mods to see if you need any patches. Maybe try installing the Immersive mods and then reinstall Legacy and see if anything comes up.

Out of date is not an issue I mean why change if it functions? I use IA and IW all the time unless I go the nordwarUA route (realistic armors)

There is an Akaviri set in immersive Armors the Akaviri dragon or blades armor if I'm right it is a heavy armor set to be found in Sky haven temple

Get your conjuration skills up high. Getting atronach staves and the Sanguine Rose gives you the same effect as summoning, but in a staff. With 100 conjuration, you can have 2 "permanent" dremora or undead followers. (I say that in quotes because something will kill them eventually, sometimes almost instantly.)

As for mortal followers, I would stick to Eola, since you are doing the ring quest.

Generally try to get and use daedric items as fast as the game allows. No using aedric amulets or shrines, or doing the quests related to Mara or Dibella, of course.

Probably best to avoid the Dawnguard DLC entirely, unless siding with the vampires fits your vision of an Oni.

I'm probably going to side with the vamps as I'm using the sacrosanct mod which adds blood magic to the game (The blood magic bit is because I'm loosely basing the oni off Dead by Daylight), also are Oni known for having any type of followers do you know?

Looks like the horns might be just for females though I'm more than likely wrong, the loincloth looks sick though def gonna download that

Not as far as I know, but a cannibal cult leader is the best mortal follower I can think of. You could always go just with summons, though.

It should be unisex. But in case it's not, there's also a Racemenu plugin which allows you to assign permanent horns;
