Skaal Village

I have a question about this place
As I was exploring the Solsthiem and doing all the sidequests before visiting Miraak and following the main dragonbron quest line I discovered a new location at the north of the island.
There are only 3 people sitting right in front of the main hall of the village , meditating or doing some witchery stuff 24/7 , The village is under some kind of hurricane / storm and there is only one other child which I can talk with.
When I try to talk to other 3 people two of them basically tell me to bugger off and one of them saying I should do something about this curse before it takes us all

My question is : Do I need to cast some spells or help them in anyway or should I come back later and maybe it's a main stroy related onjective ?

Last time I played was 6 years ago and I don't remember anything , Wiki says there are 3 side quests and 3 miscellaneous quests at this location , reading their description leads no clues about this situation .

It's part of the main quest.
I don't recommend trying to interact with any of them, there's always a rare chance of glitch something.

Specifically, in this village ~ Wind Stone there is an NPC called "Deor Woodcutter",
He takes part in an important side-quest, and is well known for being buggy/easy to break (leads to "Stalhrim Crafter" achievment)

You need to cleanse the Wind Stone nearby. You don't need to do the Main Story, you just need to get at least one word of Bend Will.

Going to Mirrak's Temple and meeting Frea will lead to the actual quest to free the Skaal people, but it's not required.

Have you uncursed the wind stone around there? You need to uncurse them all anyway.

I actually have the first world 'Earth" I will make a new save and try it , thank you
