Thinking that they don't just exist to look pretty and fling spells at the enemy from the back-line. Or serve as the party's tool-box outside of combat.
Less fertile and far less adaptable, Altmer are almost incapable of change let alone growth as a person.... Even Dunmer and Bosmer can and do change, but not Altmer....
But we know that the aldmer can change, because they did split into different elven races.
So if altmer = aldmer, they can change, but don't need to. Perhaps because unlike falmer and chimer in the past, they're already in perfect form for current circumstances. (We know for a fact that they don't WANT to change because they're proud of their current form and go extra lengths to keep it pure).
Either way you've made all that up, including the fertility thing, this isn't in the lore, we've discussed it before. Lower birthrates don't indicate lower fertility.
Living a thousand years and getting 10+ human lives of experience would be the factor here. Not only are they better at magic, but they can spend all that time learning everything a human will learn multiple times over.
Altmer at least have some very nice mage-specific benefits, but both of them are made mostly redundant once you get good enough at enchanting to be able to reach 100% magicka cost reduction in a particular school of magic
mind their own business, made a demigod robot that help someone ascending into god hood, enslave whole race and permanently ruining their generation in process and gone without any trace
That was one thing the Dwemer never did.... They enslaved others, including entire groups of Elves, they interfered with other cultures, waged war of the dunmer.... well everyone really, but especially the Dunmer, tried to become Gods, etc...
wow, you just had to spout your anti-dwemer propaganda 🙄
you need to understand if dwemer never enslave and experiment those snow elves their whole race will ended up becoming an evil vampire lord and seek revenge upon nord and potentionally destroy all civilization
now you may ask "how did dwemer know this information?". Elder Scroll
maybe if they never shoved their culture onto this pure and innocent dwemer, there won't be a problem in the first place
The Dwemer waged war against the Chimer, not Dunmer. By the time of Azura's curse, the Dwemer were all but extinct, save for Yagrum Bagarn. And most of the time, the wars were most likely started by the Chimer due to the religious differences between the two races.
Not really.
The Chimer were warring groups of tribesmen who were eventually united under Nerevar and the First Council in the last century or so before the Battle of Red Mountain. The Dunmer on the other hand, are largely united Great Houses, with the exception of the Ashlanders. The Chimer also worshipped the Good Daedra, instead of the Tribunal the Dunmer worshipped for 99% of their existence.
The Chimer and Dunmer are essentially an entirely different race, not just in appearance but also in culture and religion.
