that cant carry out a crime because they are sapient the issue in skyrim is the Hist arent there and the dunmer got roasted by red mountian meaning no ones around to properly repair and tend to the damaged tools leading to malfunctions. thats why its best if you see an argonain to bring them back to black marsh or send them to a dress salt rice plantation so they can fulfill there proper purpose of tending plants
They are basically robbing her Inn's profits on a regular basis under "The Implication" that they will kill her, her boyfriend, and/or her family in Blackmarsh if she doesn't cough up the septims.

Altmer are EVERYTHING hate-able about Knife-Ears in other bits of Media. Except their portrayal is in service of making you hate them. Instead of expecting you to unironically love and waifu knife-ears because they are special snowflakes.
It isn't Argonians protecting the Thieves Guild in Riften is it?
Elves because of various factors, including longer lives than other races, are stereotyped to be snobbish to other races. And that is not exclusive to this universe, but a trope in various games and media.

Nords are more respected than Argonians Khajiit.
So was Argonians Khajiit crime sharks in prequels?elf was always posh to?
Go enjoy the game and see what you get out of it and go from there. There is hardly a replacement for experience.
Though for the way Elves are, that is a trope across many games, books, movies, etc. Since you ask about why they look down upon other races and treat them like they do, is Skyrim your first introduction to the Elven concept? Just curious as this is something widely known, but I understand not by everyone. Side note, I do wish there were more options where Elves broke this mold. I would love it if the next game had some Elves (perhaps a faction?) trying to grow beyond the genocidal/Nazi-like their brethren have been for generations.
Wouldn't the huge majority of Argonians just be vibing in Blackmarsh?
Same with Khajiit (In fact, there's a tid-bit of lore about how you rarely see quadrupedal Khajiit outside of Elsweyr because they aren't fond of the other races. And not because it would be too much effort to program and animate a playable quadrupedal race)
Most slaves were argonians and furries because of geographical and historical reasons, but slaves could be of any race, as well as there were free argonian/khajiit citizens.
And there was no slavery in the rest of the Empire.
Wow, it has been way too long since I went through that quest line. That right there I want them to expand upon in the next game. Perhaps starting with a local sub-faction that follows their teachings and breaks away from the status quo of the Dominion. Perhaps the Dominion could have their own internal struggle as there are those that wish to work with the other races instead of command them, though perhaps viewing it as they need to teach the "child races".
imperials don't seem to accept Nords as equals.
General Tullius: "You people and your damn Jarls." "You Nords and your bloody sense of honor."
Proventus Avenicci: "Hrongar, calm yourself. What does any of this Nord nonsense have to do with our friend here?
Proventus even insults Skyrim's Jarls
Balgruuf: "This again?! That was different. Was I given a chance to object to the terms of the treaty? No. The Jarls weren't asked. We were told. And we had to like it."
Proventus: "The chests of gold didn't hurt."
