HELP: Cubemaps
I've been tweaking the smaller details within my game to find a balance that works for me. I'm currently running SC - Cubemaps by ShinglesCat and Epic Gate of Whiterun SE and Glorious Doors of Skyrim (GDOS) SE, both by hype1. The issue that I'm currently having is that the cubemap 'ore_iron_e.dds' - which looks amazing on iron objects, actually looks terrible on the Whiterun and Solitude gates.

With this is mind, I copied one of the other cubemaps, renamed it 'ore_iron_e.dds' and it made the gates look great! The downside was my iron ore veins also looked the same and so were anything but iron.

My question then, is how can I get the two gates to use THIS cubemap while keeping the other iron objects using THAT cubemap?

I hope this made sense?

Best way is to unpack the mods, use Nifscope to assign the cubes you want and file destination, drag you new cubes into the creationkit and use the creationkit to assign the new cubes.
