Yes. Now I have a completely different type of infinite loading screen. A sad little buffer wheel in the bottom right corner before the main menu options come up.
I've looked into this, and the only other explanation I can find is a memory error. And the way to fix it is to change something in SafetyLoad.ini in SKSE. The problem is this file doesn't exist. I think it may be that an article written last year and a few others parroting it were talking about oldrim. Oldrim. In 2022.
I'm not 100% sure if this was the problem, but it's possible.
Still going through every mod one by one and trying to find any problematic ones. So if another problems occurs I'll say.
(DAR mods will work with OAR, as it's the same file structure)
Installing this mod causes the infinite loading before the main menu options appear.
Why this mod, I have no idea.
Because DAR was abandoned/forgotten and wasn't updated for .640?
It got an update in January, but read the posts and you'll find many are saying the same thing. Use OAR as DAR doesn't work.
There are people noting that the game goes into an infinite loading screen with DAR installed, and since you have DAR and have the same problem, put 2 and 2 together......
It's only when I install Curator's Companion when I get the infinite load screen. Without that, even with DAR installed, it works fine.
It is 100% this mod. I went through and installed each and every one of my mods one by one, (except the ones that require Curator's Companion) launching Skyrim SE each time, and there were no infinite loading screens until I installed Curator's Companion. Now the mod itself is probably not the problem. Rather some sort of conflict with Curator's Companion. But what that conflict is, I have no idea.
