Have you tried unnistaling and reinstalling the survival mod?
Verify game files from steam.
Honestly, this is almost 100% caused by another mod you have activated

Now, the thread is simply attracting trolls.
My guess is that everything that survival mode tracks is still going on while you're in normal mode. So you're losing heat when you're in normal mode but the max health decrease is not happening so all the variables show up when you re-enable survival mode and since you weren't trying to keep warm for most of your playthrough in normal it stacks on you and when you turn survival mode on it just all stacks on you and doesn't give you a moment to fight against it. Maybe you can stand in the fire for a while then re-enable survival mode. I would say try that.
Ideally there should have been a safeguard for it.
They do however suggest against backseat moderation.
