If you want a specific follower to have different body type, then you need to do specific mod folder for her, where the body is placed. It also needs to reference to source plugin.

As you can see, this is not a simple task. To make it easier for us, both were added to Bijin family of mods and have specifically made bodyslide slider sets to unify bodies and gear.
Additional problem is that you need to also craft some standalone craftable clothes and armor for her with Slim body preset. Otherwise she will always look like having Curvy body-type in Slim body preset. BodySlide BatchBuild conforms the clothes for preset they were built.
It would be better option to try this with OBody system which allows distributing various body presets in to game. Outcome might not be as specific as you want and it might be a bit immersion breaking to assign bodies from push of a button. However, it's either that, or the very complex way.
OBody

Thank you for the reply. You almost need a full 1 semester college term in order to understand modding in Skyrim...
I wont ask you for anything more; I dont know enough even to even scratch the surface with this. Im going to spend some time learning, but I will also probably just look at the OBody if its a complete overhaul that will provide a solution.
But of course, OBody is going to require a ♥♥♥♥ ton of other mods and plugins that i dont understand either XD
Thanks again.
PS. I will no ask for anymore of your time, but a quick explanation on the folder setups and the terminology (.dds, s.dds, sk.dds, nif) would really help. If those are even significant that is
NIF-files are meshes.
OBody only requires 4 files. One of them is of course OStim, so if you wanted to use SL for adult animations that will conflict with it.
I prefer SL, which is why I have just remained with one-base-body-to-all method, which is the default in BodySlide.
a) hard way
b) sharing the information.
Things change on occasion. Every now and again even experienced modder pops in to community thread of Discord, posting questions that leave others in full "Huh? Wat?" -mode for a while.
Advice to New Players Regarding Modding the Game

from the PINNED TOPIC Helpful Links and References
It contains everything you need to get off on the right foot.
Jumping ahead to specific things such as Bodyslide, or other individual aspects of modding, without first knowing the basics, will just lead to confusion and mistakes in the long run.
Good luck!
I seriously appreciate you. I simply wasnt aware of the learning curve present. For now, Im just going to use the OBody tool so I can get back to playing, but I definitely can take time in the future to learn the proper way to do things.
Another, separate question if you dont mind: TLDR, I need a recommendation for a good Outfit studio turtorial, so I can edit outfits to fit 3BA, and be able to fetch them in-game.
Im using 3BA along side the CBBE. Lets say I download a mod full of in-game clothes, but in Outfit studio, the body used for the clothes is the CBBE one.
My characters have the 3BA body, until I put on these clothes. The mod I want to convert is - Ghaans Revealing Outfits. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/39967
I have tried following some Youtube turtorials; I delete the CBBE body and load the 3BA reference, then a few things with Bones and Sliders, and I end up Saving Project As.. and remane the Outfit with (3BA)
2 problems here. Saving As creates a separate file that I cant fetch within the game (I dont know how to spawn in Outfits ive created). I tried instead to edit the existing G3B file instead, saving the project with the 3BA body that I replaced. This doesnt work either. EDIT: For an example, some outfits in GRO have piercings. I hard delete the piercings in the top-right corner, and Save. Not Save As. Yet, when crafting them in-game, the piercings persist. I just have no idea what im doing obviously
I want to download outfits, and put the 3BA body inside. Is this possible? A recommendation to a link or tutorial that you know of would be awesome.
No response expected; you've solved my initial question
Absolutely, as Ive definitely found out over the last 48 hours!! XD Cheers m8
Absolutely. I was just ignorant to think I could jump in and get some mods running for a weekend playthrough.
My main issue right now when reading, is understanding the terminology and the roles of plugins and yadda-yadda. Same with File locations. It would probably be best for me to delete everything ive downloaded, read or watch the beginner guides like this other person has mentioned, and start over fresh
Outfit Studio is my weakest spot. I just recently tried to convert Rough Leather Armor (Legacy of Dragonborn Curator armor) for HIMBO. Everything looked great in OutfitStudio and BodySlide, but it was ripping in the game. I haven't had time to figure out where I went wrong with that one.
The base content you are working with likely comes from a plugin. If you need to test them in game, you can use either console or - perhaps more easiest - AddItemMenu to get them for testing.
AddItemMenu - Ultimate Mod Explorer

If you are running game version 1.6.640 you'll want the untested version, which works.

Then you can grab some premade body files.

Once everything is installed you'l have to run BodySlide with the zero slider for the Batch Build so all clothing and armor fit the new body types.
Either direction you go, be sure to read everything. There are a few steps involved but everything is easy to follow. have fun
Also, as Corinze said - never forget the most important thing of all: have fun!
Not a problem, youve been an enormous help.
I was still unsuccessful with the outfits. Maybe here is my issue; 3BBB Body Amazing has many more sliders than 3BBB.
Here was my process. After downloading the mod, I open Bodyslide, and select my preset. Then, in the top right Group Filter, I select the G3B set (Ghaans set). I then press Build Batch on the bottom left. Everything is successful.
But, when I then preview one of the items, the amount of sliders present in Bodyslide is reduced. Again, Im a total noob here, but when opening Outfit Studio, the body used is named "3BBB", where as other outfits I have that DO work as I intend, show the body as "3BA", and for those, all the sliders are present.
In my head, the solution is to delete the 3BBB body, and import the 3BA instead. Im learning here minute by minute.
My women in game use 3BA, but then their breasts get smaller when putting on the clothes; the values of the sliders arent equivalent, and as I mentioned before, the amount of sliders total is not the same either. :(
Thank you for the response. AutoBody looks promising, and I have most of the prereqs already installed. Ive already started the OBody installation process, so ill check out AutoBody in the future.
Cheers
