How to fix NiNode/Scene Root CTD
I've spent months trying to fix NiNode, Scene Root, and Shadow Scene Node crashes. I have engine fixes installed and it still crashes. Specs are: 48 gigs of DDR 4 ram, RTX 2070, and a 10th Gen i9 10850k.

I have been helping in these forums for nearly 8 years, and know the game and the mechanics pretty darn well, and I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, nor have I ever heard anyone else refer to those things either - anywhere. You need to explain exactly what is happening in the game and the circumstances of when the issues occur.

SkyrimSE.exe: count: (40)
This file on its own is not the cause, however, we'll do further parsing...

Could not find any known issues related to SkyrimSE.exe.
SkyrimSE.exe _might_ be listed for the sole reason of... you're playing this game!!

Some mod might be incompatible with RaceMenu, or your body.
You might want to read:
- https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/44252?tab=description
If there are any further entries below this, it might be a strong indicator for its cause.
Also, please make sure to have this installed:

This _might_ shows a probable issue with animations.
Please check mods that add animations.

NiNode: count: (2)
Ninodes are related to skeletons. It could be a wrong loadorder for skeleton based mods.
If you use HDT/SMP, make sure to load it like: Body (CBBE or BH/UNP) -> FNIS/Nemesis -> DAR -> HDT -> XP32
Also make sure that you've chosen the HDT/SMP variant of xpmsse.
If you find a mod name in the following list, try disabling it and rerun FNIS or Nemesis.

RTTIName: "NiNode" count: (1)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hdtSMP64.dll: count: (4)
If this appears often, it might indicate a bad config (rare).
However, it might also just indicate that there were NPCs around that were wearing hdt/SMP enabled clothing...
Please increase the log level for hdtsmp64 (if you have not done so yet) and check its content.

Make sure to have Faster HDT-SMP that suits your Skyrim Version:

Also make sure you have these installed:
- SMP NPC fix: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/91616

You are using FSMP version: 2.02.02
Please ensure that this is compatible with your SKSE version: 1.6.640

This one is marked as BETA.
You might want to downgrade to one of the RC: 1.50.7-rc1 or 1.50.9-rc1
Release Candidates (rc) are usualy more stable than a beta.

Possible FOMOD settings for installation
You might want to try different AVX options, because eventhough supported, they might cause shutter/'lag' in populated areas...

It tells you that the ninode problem is likely a skeleton problem. You likely have an incompatibility or something funky going on with your skeleton mod.

First, crash logs are really not much use - even for those claiming "experience" in using them. Unless a person knows how to read them (and even often if a person does), they are worse than useless - worse because a person ends up wasting a LOT of time whereas if they test their build in the below manner, they would have solved it in less time than if they try to analyze the log. As to troubleshooting your build, follow this general outline:

I know it isn't my skeletons. My other crash logs pointed towards other stuff like before. I downloaded retexture and the issue went away. The issue is the eyes that the dragon has

Or the eye lashes I mean

That's not what your crash log is saying. It's saying that your skeleton is wonky. You might have other problems going on too but that's the one in your crash log currently.

If replacing a texture fixed the issue then I highly suspect you're going to run into more issues shortly.

Every time I tried to access a cell with vampires, I would get NiNode crash. After much research, this fixed it for me:
