Survival Mods Question
So I never noticed any issues with Wet & Cold on AE but I have heard about others having issues. Also still use iNeed and Campfire/Frostfall and haven't had any problems with those either. I'm curious how Survival Mode compares to these mods now and if I should use it instead or other alternatives cause I'm worried problems may arise down the line. Prefer to stick with these mods if I can.

I don't think any mod is 100% bug-free, I've seen users reporting bugs in Survival Mode (like it stopping working out of nowhere) although I didn't have any problems like that in the only playthrough I tried it.

I dropped SM because of poor-balance, and in my opinion too "simplistic".
Campfire + SunHelm (+ RASS + Winter is Coming) is my favorite combo, it's not over-complex nor simplistic, it's just right.
I've never had any problems, but again, nothing is 100% perfect/bug free.

I used Wet and Cold in Legendary Edition, haven't tested it in SSE yet.. I don't miss it to be honest.
RASS will provide similar visual effects; Winter is Coming distribute capes on NPCs.

This one definitely looks like an interesting combo. Might try this out.

Frostfall/Hunterborn/Campfires/Wet and cold is the best IMO. Survival mod is good, but very bare bones.

I was a longtime user for Frostfall, but even with update patch it has few too many issues with SSE. Wet and Cold also seems to have some issues with SSE, which it didn't in LE.

I also went with Sunhelm, Campfire, Hunterborn + Hunterborn MCM. They work well together. Only thing that I missed for a while was wetness effects, but I have pretty much already forgotten all about them.

I've used Wet & Cold + iNeed as a combo for years without issue. For me it is balanced just right. Survival mode I just did not like it. Probably just used to the previous for so long.

+1, at least 3 separate times. So technically, +3.

This is a couple days old now, maybe you tried AE survival mode? Similar but yes, bare bones by comparison. Also much more approachable to people who want to SAY they played survival mode than the tedious micro-management of actually stacking survival mods up, so there's that. :devilskiss:

Just started my new playthrough with Campfire/Frostfall, iNeed and R.A.S.S. And Winter is Coming.
