Q: How to Rank Up Enchantment Skilltree?
First time playthrough. I have great Ebony Items with other great items with enchantment buffs. I wanted to add those great enchantments onto the Ebony via the Enchantment Table. My issue is that the buff stats are greatly lowered after i learn the Enchantment Buff. Im also struggling how i can gain experience in the Enchantment Skill.

How can i gain more experience within the Enchantment Skilltree?

Usually the higher the sale price of the enchanted item the faster enchanting levels. Collect all the gear you can, sell the enchanted stuff, and enchant the rest, also enchant everything you make when leveling smithing. And there is a mod that maxes smithing, alchemy, and enchanting, why spend those hard to get perk points on work.
iirc charging enchanted items with soul gems also fills enchanting exp.
Unlike with Alchemy or Smithing, the value of the item enchanted has no bearing on the experience earned. More valuable enchanted items can of course be sold for more, and therefor you can buy more soul gems to make more enchanted items. But the more powerful enchanted items themselves do not raise the skill any faster than doing low value enchantments.

To level Enchanting, enchant as many pieces of gear as possible. As the power of the enchantment does not effect the XP gained, save your grand soul gems for the gear you want to keep and use. Do the enchants to level up the skill with the weaker soul gems. Disenchant as many items as possible - in this case, the more powerful items do tend to give more XP.

Recharging magic items gives a small amount of XP as well. If you have either version of Azura's Star, using a soul trap weapon to kill an enemy will fill the star and allow you to recharge the weapon, then use it again on another enemy, and so on. Though you are far better off using soul gems to enchant new items. Enchanting gives a lot more XP than recharging does depending on the soul used. (Unlike with enchanting an item, using a soul gem to recharge an item does grant more XP for bigger souls. But the XP granted is less than the XP you get when enchanting an item.)

Check out my guide. However a quick answer is
learn enchantments
-Once you have a lot of money and are able to sell potions go to college of winterhold and buy all the soul gems you can.
-sleep
-enchant a lot.

(alternatively)
-make a bow or sword of soul siphoning set power to 1
-Buy a lot of empty soul gems, fill them up
-Start the enchanting process with every thing you craft or find.

(alternatively)
-Buy a bunch of filled soul gems College of Winterhold
-Buy a bunch of basic clothing solitude Radiant Raiment
-Now with a lot of filled soul gems and basic clothes get to enchanting

Soul Gem usage...

Grand - enchant weapons and armor to be used
Greater - recharge high capacity weapons

Common - raise enchanting skill
Lesser - raise enchanting skill
Petty - raise enchanting skill

if starting at 15 Enchanting, well rested, mage stone... it can take upwards of (IIRC) 200+ soul gems, and items to reach 100 Enchanting.

Use smaller soul gems to level enchanting.
Collect every boot, shoe, clothes, hat, jewelry, ragged trousers....

Select the item in your inventory. If it needs to be recharged, there should be a prompt on the bottom of the screen telling you what button to push. You will need a filled soul gem of some type. And I don't think the prompt will show on a completely full item, so look for one with a depleted magicka bar in its description. It doesn't matter how empty it is, all that matters is what size of soul you are using to recharge it. At least as far as Enchanting XP is concerned.

But recharging magic items is a waste of a soul if you are trying to get Enchanting XP. A grand soul gives 0.6 base XP when recharging, but 1 base XP when enchanting something with it. A petty soul only gives 0.05 base XP when recharging, but also gives 1 base XP when enchanting an item with it.
