You need to use Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex never open/use the mod manager by bethesda thats ingame its slow and doesnt guarantee a mod is or isnt working. If a mod uses MCM menu there will be a delay before it shows up. (unrelated to 3BA)
Requirements:
SKSE SKSE64
Address Library for SKSE Plugins
PapyrusUtil SE - Modders Scripting Utility Functions
Race menu
Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer -CBBE-
XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended
CBPC - Physics with Collisions
Faster HDT-SMP
BodySlide and Outfit Studio - v5.6.0-201-5-6-0-1654342850
CBBE 3BA
3BA Vanilla Clothes and Armor THE OLDER 1.9.5 version is need for Immersive Slider Group
3BA Vanilla Clothes and Armor - Immersive Slider Group
CBBE - 3BA Vanilla Armors - No Rim Lighting,
Also check series of requirements for parts you already installed as well as new ones. There is a large series of mod requirements.
You need to run Bodyslide for anything to work:
If you have it installed you should open it and edit output path to a empty mod in mod organizer 2/vortex whatever you use. Name its folder Bodyslide output or whatever you want. You want the currently empty mod to be after any of the outfit/body mods. In Mod Organizer 2 you do this by scrolling to bottom of mods, right click the empty space right below overwrite, (so you right click low enough that overwrite isnt highlighted), click create empty mod, name it Body slide Output. After its named and created right click on it, click open in explorer. Copy path at the top of opened window and paste it into body slides output path. Output path is in the app. Located at bodyslide>Settings>Advanced>Output Path. Can right click the path box, click select all then hit backspace/delete on keyboard then right click paste.
(a vortex user should give input on how this is done i never used vortex because i hate its design for conflicts)
Nude/never nude:
I believe you have to go into group manger. (below the top right below group filter), Select Group manager > Browse to Slider groups folder > load 3BBB Vanilla .xml > Click 3BBB Dawnguard, 3BBB Dragonborn, 3BBB Vanilla one by one removing anything labeled nevernude in the members list. Gotta hit each one and remove them. > Hit save or save as if you want to keep old ones. Do same for 3BA Vanilla Immersive .xml it might not have it but Idk and don't want to break my setup just to see. Close it.
(common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderGroups is path you should look for when browsing for slider groups.)
(This part needs input if someone knows better)
Group Filter/Batch build:
There is a section in bodyslide called group filter its second from the top right. You have to click the magnifying glass, hit choose groups. Check all with label CBBE. (I advice doing it separately with each err idk good phrase. Run each set separately. Like on mine I see:
CBBE
CBBE bodies
CBBE Creation club
etc
You can batch build them as a group with no issue.
After you check them hit ok and hit batch build on bottom left corner. You might need to check build morphs before running it but i have no idea what it does. I hit it and everything works correctly so it doesn't break anything as far as i can see.
A dialogue will display right click any of the listings and click select all then build. There might be other dialogues about which file to prioritize. Should be self explanatory just check mod names and which are requirements etc.
My advice is run CBBE ones first. Then run 3BBB, 3BA then 3BA Immersive slider groups.
Misc info for you:
-Body slide is for managing and editing custom bodies/outfits. The individual armors and clothing are each essentially their own body. Nude/underwear is also its own body. Usually Bodyslide calls them all outfits.
-Groups separate sets of these. Sometimes a mod has multiple groups.
-3BA is sort of custom/incomplete on its own so needs the companion mods. 3BA Immersive Slider Group creates a working menu in race menu for changing every part of the body. It applies this to your own character and is adjusted in the games character creator. It applies it to any vanilla armor and clothing. I dont know if it can automatically apply to 3BA custom armor. I haven't tested and have no idea how any of this works on a technical level.
-CBBE - 3BA Vanilla Armors - No Rim Lighting:
I have no idea why this is a problem I guess a different mod dev messed and turned it on? I have no idea. You want this for sure.
-You need to run bodyslide for other mods like Hands Redone, Khajiit Fluffy body 3BA etc. For individual mods you just need to do their own group or outfit rather than a batch build.
If you have any other question I can I can try to answer when I learned how to use bodyslide i pretty much threw ♥♥♥♥ at the wall until everything worked. The instructions on the mod pages didn't seem satisfactory.
TLDR version:
Prelude currently must use 3BA Vanilla Clothes and Armor v 1.9.5 version.
1: For nude bodies:
-Select Group manager > Browse to Slider groups folder > load 3BBB Vanilla .xml > Click 3BBB Dawnguard, 3BBB Dragonborn, 3BBB Vanilla one by one removing anything labeled nevernude in the members list. Gotta hit each one and remove them. > Hit save or save as if you want to keep old ones. Do same for 3BA Vanilla Immersive .xml it might not have it but Idk and dont want to break my setup just to see. Close it.
2: For everyone I believe
-Select magnifying glass in bodyslide for group filter > Select Choose Groups
-Select 3BBB Dawnguard, 3BBB Dragonborn, 3BBB Vanilla
-Do a batch build
-Repeat same steps for 3BA Immersive
The above is a personal opinion. Vortex is a very good mod manager. Some love MO2 some hate MO2, Some love Vortex some hate it. The correct answer is to use whatever you are comfortable with.
I've been using Vortex since it was in Alpha and never once had an issue with it. My most recent build with Vortex is 1,054 mods plus the Anniversary DLC and the game runs great.
I'm sure Doom Sayer would agree the most important part of building a load order is the person at the controls, the person building the load order. Because:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SL60Ofw1KtA&ab_channel=maxstrauss07
It allows the meshes to be non-static, meaning having it changeable ingame.
Amazing thank you!
I did it.
One question:
Is it possible to have physics on first person? I mean while looking my boobs while on first person camera? :D
It has a ini file where you can enable/disable first person kill moves and change fov for each scenario, sitting in chair, horse back, normal gameplay etc.
Here is most modern favorited equipment mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62001
combo with this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58990
for physics.
The equipment mod has a big config thing ingame so it should be adjustable so the staff or other items dont go in front of your face. (I havent gotten around to that yet) I only encountered it with staffs so likely is only thing needing a tweak.
Im guessing that means for what we are doing its good to have build morphs on.
I understand, okay then no prob. Thanks again for your help! I am having so much fun with bodyslide modding!
ABSOLUTE GODSEND, PLEASE MARRY ME.
TYSM
Hello! Can you please tell how did you make your physics work on vanilla outfits?
