Here is what I recommend. Ensure your Frostfall and Campfire installations are correct and right (I can't advise with Mod Managers of any sort). Pre Requisites are met and everything good with the install.
Be aware that FrostFall and Campfire have not been updated by the Mod Author in quite some time. Fortunately some members of the Modding Community have stepped up with fixes. I am pretty sure this one is a good one to use but check there are none more recent.

Ensure you have the proper Papyrus version for your Game Version as well as SKSE.

If all that is good and you have no protected folder issues (Microsoft Defender alerts) or other AV Issues. Let us know and we can try something else to narrow down the issue.
Thank you! I'll do this and get back to you. Thank!
This didn't fix my issue. I still can't save the changes I make to Armor and Clothing Warmth and Coverage.

That didn't work for me. No idea what's wrong with this.
Under profile name (Default, or separately named) has both load order and mod list as TXT-files. You can copy and paste the load order directly from loadorder.txt file here.
It might be worth posting the content of modlist.txt as other reply, because there might be resource conflicts that we can spot.
The only other thing I can think of is to troubleshoot with a completely new game following this general outline:
Troubleshooting Your Load Order

after doing a clean reinstall by following this exactly:

While that may not be something you wish to do right now on your current playthrough, you should do it before starting a new one.
Hopefully someone else will come up with some idea or see something in your load order.
Good luck and keep us informed, Wild Child.
Not sure what Operating System you have but its possible.

I use Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 and have a habit of repairing or reinstalling periodically as I don't trust when major Windows Updates or Steam reinstalls its redistributables.
I don't think it can hurt but I have been out of the "Tech Game" for almost 8 years and I definitely have degraded.
This didn't help. I'm running Windows 10.
use this one (the second file) for the current game version:
JContainers SE SKSE 2.2.2 / SSE (SAE) 1.6.640
That allows information as to mods to be stored
If this remains as a problem for you, then you could try swapping to more compatible survival mod, which is also supported by control panel to change gear values.

Swapping from Frostfall wasn't easy for me and I still miss several things from it. However, unless Chesko comes back, or someone takes another look at unofficial patch for Frostfall, it just isn't worth the headache at it's current state.
Something to think about, if you get frustrated fighting with it.
Thanks, guys. I appreciate all the help.
Thanks. I'll try this.
This didn't work for me. Thanks, though.
