Pets of Skyrim [Skritch] BUG

[Lost Soul]

I'm stuck with current quest.
Skritch is out of the cage, this part of the quest is marked as done, but the general quest is still on the quests list, and I don't know what to do next.
Google doesn't help at all.

Nothing.... ya don't have to do anything in my experience.

You'll stumble into the pets when (I assume) that the not really a quest thinks it is time.

I've got three of 'em so far. Been a while though and I haven't gotten a 4th one yet but since I also don't have a completion of it I'm guessing there's another one or two or who knows how many out there waiting to be found.

Aside: hoping someone comes along who knows a bit more about this strange quest.

I remember a few months ago there was a similar quest and I had to find different kind of animals, but this time I only have a quest about the skeever, and don't know how to start that other quest [about a fox, etc.]

What a madness.. Now I see I've done a tiny part of the game.
